Why Have a Travel Health Check?

When travelling overseas, we may be exposed to infections and diseases that are not found in the UK. Because of this, we are more susceptible to the disease and more likely to become poorly. Many of these diseases can be potentially life threatening and especially when coupled with less advanced healthcare facilities available in some countries.

The good news is that many of these diseases and infections are preventable, or much less likely, with a simple injection or course of tables.

Prior to any vaccine, we will have a full consultation with you discussing your travel plans and any co-existing medical conditions that may have an effect on the treatments. We will then advise you on the treatments that you need to ensure you have a healthy holiday.
